Everyone—parents, grandparents, educators and community members are invited to join PTA.

The #1 reason to join the Union Park PTA is to support your student and our school. We are an important contributor to Union Park in many ways and encourage each of you to do your part by becoming active members.
  • When Parents Get Connected – You can become informed about educational issues, school activities, important dates, policy changes, student and teacher concerns, budget issues and other important information. There are volunteer opportunities, putting your skills and hobbies to use to better your student's school. Speak up – PTA can be a way for you to suggest positive improvements for our school.
Being a PTA member means you are affiliated with an organization filled with dedicated volunteers giving thousands of hours each year to the success of Union Park Elementary School. Our PTA provides opportunities to meet and talk with other pioneer parents who have the same worries as you. By sharing common concerns, you will feel more empowered to do the tough job of parenting. As a PTA member, you have the opportunity to not only impact our local school and community, but to have input in major legislative and policy issues affecting children throughout the state. Membership gives you a voice. Get involved. Membership dues are the most important funding resource for our many projects that include, but not limited to, the Reflection Program, events, parent and student enrichment programs and Teacher/Staff Appreciation. We are affiliated with the Texas PTA and National PTA organizations.

Dues are $10 per member.
